Sails and boats, profiles and stories of the sea
Pisa: city of sea, knowledge and
know how.
The wind blowing on the sails of a boat that was traveling
through Pisa allowed Galileo to understand the laws of free fall
and enlightened him with the theories of relativity.
Wind, sails, sea and science intertwined in a path that
originates from the Marine Republic and terminates at the Normal
School.
The blue of the sea, the sails filled with wind, the strong
hands and proud, work worn faces of those who work there, the
lapping of the waves, the scent of the seafront gathered in
Federica, in her encounter with the harbour of Pisa, many
emotions and sensations that come together, blend and spill out
onto the canvas, in delicate and elemental signatures.
